Convert invoice & receipt PDFs to Excel
The most tedious part of bookkeeping is keying a stack of invoices into Excel one at a time. Invoice & receipt to Excel pulls the line items (item, quantity, unit price, amount) and the header fields (invoice number, date, vendor, total) out of a PDF invoice into an editable table — and you can batch several invoices into a single summary sheet for the month. It all runs locally in your browser; the invoice is never uploaded. The honest boundary: clean digital invoices extract best; scans and heavily styled layouts need a quick total-check pass before you export.
The most tedious part of bookkeeping is keying a stack of invoices into Excel one at a time.
Drop one or more invoice / receipt PDFs and StatementSift extracts line items (item/qty/unit price/amount) and header fields (invoice #/date/vendor/total) locally. Multiple invoices are summarized. Nothing is uploaded. Clean digital invoices work best; check totals on complex layouts.

Why use StatementSift's Invoice & receipt to Excel?
- Line items and header together: not just a grand total — every line plus the invoice number, date and vendor, ready for your ledger, expenses or reconciliation.
- Batch into one sheet: drop in a month of invoices and get a single summary ledger instead of juggling a dozen files.
- Invoices stay on your machine: pricing, customers and vendor details are commercially sensitive, so everything is processed in the browser, never on a server.
Frequently asked questions
Scans are images with no text layer, so extracting directly gives a blank sheet. Add a text layer first with Scanned OCR (Beta), then extract — or OCR it and tidy up by hand. Digital PDF invoices (downloaded from a billing system) work best.
Not guaranteed. Multi-column, nested or merged-cell invoices can misalign line items. Clean, standard invoices extract most accurately; for complex ones, check the total matches after extracting.
